We have the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Unparalleled Objectives by the artist duo Christto Sanz and Andrew Weir, on May 5 at 7:00pm with the presence of the artists.
In this exhibition the artists explore Middle Eastern identities perceived in postmodern conditions through highly aestheticized compositions and  references. Their subjects represent everyday misconceptions of Arab and Middle Eastern cultures in a multicultural context and the exchange and transactions which take place under such settings.

“Postmodernism is not a new era but rather a space to rethink ideas shaped in Modernism. It is a space where the rational is fortified and the absolute truth looses its entirety. A new concept that rejects the linearity of history; where the boundaries between art and reality have vanished and both have collapsed into a universal drill as the sociologist and philosopher Jean Baudrillard mentions in his book Culture and Mock (1978). Simulation that extends into both individual and collective identity. This is evident in recent times where globalization, new media technology and the internationalization of production allow us to enter into unfamiliar realities.
Globalization as implemented today, promotes the exchange of icons and its elements across different societies that lead to considerable transformations, thus turning globalization into a new political, social and economic development that expanded to geography and spacial distances, proposing a global market by exposing the universality of humanity.”
